The PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) is a mandatory European standard for the design and manufacture of pressure equipment. 2. What is the difference between a 3.1 and 3.2 certificate according to EN 10204?
By default, we supply materials with a 3.1 certificate, issued by the manufacturer, confirming that the delivered products comply with the order requirements (based on specific tests). If a 3.2 certificate is required, the material inspection takes place in the presence of an independent inspector (e.g., TÜV). We can arrange 3.2 certification upon agreement.
3. What are the main differences between DIN 28011 and DIN 28013 ends?
- DIN 28011 (Klöpper head): Has a shallower shape and a larger crown radius. It is the most common and economical choice for medium-duty pressure applications.
